First off, I know I have been terribly remiss in updating my LJ, since arriving in Costa Rica. This was mostly due to the fact that I have been on the road non/stop for the past 2 months, and the small fact that I lost my password...Mea Culpa.

So tomorrow I fly to Bocas del Toro, Panama for some well earned rest. Work has been great and rewarding but also very tiring. Candles and both ends and all that.
How are you all, on this side of the pond and the other?
I am kind of sad to miss this years HG/SS exchange though, seeing as that I have been a faithfull participant in the other ones. Perhaps I can squeeze in something, but it'll have to wait till I'm back home again, which won't be untill October!!

So, I'll go check up on all my Friends pages.

Just a short update to let y'all know I'm still alive. Not kicking though. Past two months have been more than rough on me. My sweet tomcat Rafiki had a heart-attack and died. He was just two years old. Totally out of the blue. This shocked us to the core. Couple this with me dislocating my knee, which put me out of the running for a month...well, you can imagine how I feel.

Luckily, there finally seems to be a hint of Spring. So I will sit outside, rest my weary mind a bit, and try to focus on the future, instead of mulling over the past.

I need a hug.
